PERFORMANCE HORSES

PHILOSOPHY

"Whatever your horse learns from the start, they retain with high absorbency; positively or negatively."

When you value the "Firsts" for your horse, you'll appreciate the positive experiences they have from an early age. This will begin the pattern of teaching your horse how to respond to pressure, rather than react to pressure. Having the power to choose who you allow to interact with your young horses, sets the tone, energy and behaviors allowed, at a very impressionable age. By following a solid program designed to build confidence, gain respect, respond to pressure and achieve control of their entire body, you'll align your horse for any discipline. Set your partnership up for success by laying a foundation that gives you the ability to make good decisions for your horse's future based on talent, athleticism, mindset and trainability.  â€‹

Background

Kristin Hamacher

My journey of training horses professionally, began in 2012. I've travelled across the country teaching horsemanship and had the opportunity to work with some truly devoted people and elite horses. Being completely submerged in the horsemanship industry allowed me to develop a strong skillset to start young horses, reeducate problem horses, advance green horses, as well as set owners up for successful partnerships. In 2016, my focus dialed in on working with performance colts geared for reining, cutting & working cow horse. My passion is embedded in watching these talented colts progress through my program, knowing that they have a firm foundation of respect, confidence and body control to go into any discipline. When you put the time in early on, you increase your progress and decrease resistance and confusion at each level of your horse's training. I believe it takes a team of dedicated people to support and navigate a horse through their career. I'd love be a part of yours!
